Therapy Intensives: Deep Healing & Lasting Transformation
Move Beyond Insight and Into Embodied Change
You’ve Done the Work… But Something Still Feels Stuck
You’ve been in therapy. You’ve read the books, journaled through the pain, and practiced self-awareness. You can name your patterns and even where they come from yet, despite all that insight, a part of you still feels heavy.
Maybe you’ve experienced a loss or trauma that you can’t seem to move past.
Maybe you’ve grown in many ways but still feel disconnected from your body, your voice, or your peace.
Or maybe you’re simply tired — of managing, overthinking, holding it all together, and never having enough time to actually process what’s happening inside.
Even with all your progress, old wounds and familiar patterns keep resurfacing. The part of you that knows how to push through is exhausted, and the part of you that longs to rest doesn’t know how.
You don’t need more information. You need space — compassionate, uninterrupted space to feel, release, and come home to yourself.
That’s what a Therapy Intensive offers: an immersive experience that helps you move beyond talking about healing to fully embodying it.
What is an Intensive?
A Therapy Intensive is a 1–3 day immersive healing experience designed for women who want to make meaningful progress in a shorter amount of time. It’s the depth of a retreat combined with the focused care of therapy.
No rushing. No clock-watching. Just time — dedicated solely to you and your healing.
In a calm, supportive environment (in-person near Tampa, FL or virtually), we use evidence-based, trauma-informed, and somatic approaches such as:
Brainspotting — to access and release trauma stored in the body.
IFS (Internal Family Systems) — to meet, understand, and unburden the parts of you that have been carrying pain or protection.
Mindfulness & Somatic Practices — to help you regulate, ground, and reconnect to your sense of calm.
Why Choose a Therapy Intensive vs Traditional Weekly Therapy?
Weekly therapy offers consistency, but it often limits how deep we can go within an hour. Intensives allow you to stay in your process longer, so you can move from understanding your patterns to shifting them.
Intensives are ideal if you want to:
Address trauma or grief without stopping at surface insight.
Move through emotional blocks that traditional therapy hasn’t resolved.
Create breakthroughs in self-worth, boundaries, or identity.
Reconnect with your calm, grounded self—without the rush between sessions.
You’ll invest more upfront but spend less overall than ongoing therapy across a full year — because when you have space to go deep, real healing can finally take root.

When you stop surviving and start expanding
How a Therapy Intensive Works
During this session, we'll assess your symptoms and their severity, uncover your therapeutic goals, and the stressful or traumatic experiences you may have had.
We'll also identify any negative beliefs holding you back and recognize the positive resources you already have. Together, we'll establish individualized goals and create a tailored treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Intensives are held in office minutes outside of Tampa Florida in Land O Lakes, or virtually.
They are scheduled for 1-3 days 4 hours each day.
The time will focus on clearing trauma and limiting beliefs and the expansion of desired qualities/states of being.
After your intensive, we'll have a follow-up session dedicated to sharing reflections and insights.
This is a time for you to express how the transformation is impacting you now. We will discuss the next steps on your healing journey.

Yes, intensive therapies are just as effective, and often more effective, than traditional weekly sessions. Especially for trauma treatment, intensives are the preferred method for several reasons (Greenwald et al, 2020):
Accelerated Healing: Intensive therapy allows for deeper work in a shorter period, leading to quicker healing and symptom relief.
Comprehensive Focus: With more time in each session, we can go beyond coping skills and address the root causes of your issues, facilitating profound and lasting transformation.
Customized Treatment: Each intensive is tailored to your specific needs, ensuring a personalized and effective approach to your healing journey.
Efficiency and Stability: Intensives reduce the risk of treatment-related destabilization and life crises disrupting the therapeutic process. Rapid results mean less time spent in distress.
Focused Sessions: Time is not wasted on frequent check-ins, addressing immediate crises, or focusing solely on stabilizing and coping skills that may not be needed after trauma healing.
Overall, intensive therapy offers a more concentrated and effective path to recovery, helping you feel better faster and achieve deeper, long-lasting results.
