Stop Doing the Most. Start Living With Ease.
The Most Recovery Workshop with Leighya Richard,LMHC
A workshop for high-achieving women who are tired of overfunctioning, overgiving, and overriding their own needs
If you’ve spent your whole life holding everything together, this 2-hour workshop will help you understand why you do the most—and give you the tools to finally break the cycle so you can live with more joy, rest, and fulfillment.
You are brilliant… but you’re tired.
Tired of being the responsible one.
Tired of being the strong one.
Tired of keeping everything and everyone afloat.
People depend on you because you always step up.
But now stepping up feels like stepping over yourself.
You weren’t meant to carry this much alone.
This workshop will help you understand why your system defaults to overfunctioning—and how to release the pressure without losing who you are.
This is for you if:
You do everything yourself because you don’t trust others to follow through
You feel guilty resting, slowing down, or saying “no”
You’re chronically overworked, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted
You’re praised for being capable but secretly craving help
You want boundaries but fear disappointing others
You’ve outgrown “strong Black woman” conditioning
You want a life that feels softer, calmer, and more connected
You are not the problem.
Your system learned survival through overfunctioning.
This is where you learn a new way.
This experience is designed to help you finally understand why you’re so exhausted — and gently guide you toward a softer way of being.
You will:
See the real reason you overfunction, not the one you blame yourself for
Recognize the part of you that carries everything and give her compassion instead of judgment
Release the guilt around slowing down, resting, or not being available to everyone
Feel what ease actually feels like when you’re not in survival mode
Create internal safety so you don’t feel like you have to do it all
Practice small but powerful shifts that help you interrupt the burnout cycle
Learn how to set boundaries without apologizing
Walk away with a clearer, kinder relationship with yourself
This workshop is about coming home to yourself — without the pressure, without the performance, and without abandoning your own needs.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and more capable of choosing ease over obligation.

Everything is optional, and you’re always in control of how much you participate. These practices are meant to support reflection and a sense of steadiness, not to push you into anything intense or emotional.
I’m Leighya Richard, a licensed therapist who works with high-achieving women who carry too much — emotionally, mentally, relationally.
This workshop was created from the patterns I see daily in the therapy room and in my own life: capable women stuck in survival mode, craving ease but unsure how to step out of doing the most.
